WATSON - At his home peacefully on Friday October 9, 2009. Alexander "Bruce" Watson of Woodstock in his 58th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Carol Ann (nee Norris) Watson for nearly twenty eight years. Dear father of Shannon Watson (Bob Denby) and Courtney Watson all of Woodstock. Loved poppa of Bailey Watson and Alex Watson. Dear brother of Liz Johnstone of California and brother-in-law Gary of Scarborough, and beloved uncle of Leanne and Dawn and families. Survived by his mother-in-law Margaret Norris and sisters and brothers-in-law Kim Norris (Ann), Jane Emerson (Don), John Norris (Carol) and Dawn Norris. Beloved uncle of Bobbie Jo Emerson and family and Kelsey Norris. Predeceased by his brother Jerry Watson. Bruce enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar and watching football with Courtney. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Bruce's life will take place at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 1 pm.
