MARSHALL, Bruce M. - At his home on Thursday October 10, 2013. Bruce McDonald Marshall of Woodstock in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Donna J. (nee Huctwith) Marshall for over 44 years. Dear father of David and his wife Crystal of Sturgeon Falls. Loved grandfather to Jonathan, Joshua, Lincoln and Aiden. Dear brother of Dorothy Marshall of Toronto and Donna McCallum (Bob) of Woodstock and brother-in-law to Robert Cline of Owen Sound and Lorraine McIntyre (Don) of Thamesville. Bruce is survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Willis and Mary Marshall, sister Barbara Cline and brother-in-law Glen Huctwith. Bruce taught science at Cayuga Secondary School for over 30 years. He loved his gardening with a special talent for nurturing orchids. Bruce loved playing hockey especially with his friends of the Hamilton Old Timers hockey league. Finally, Bruce enjoyed playing golf with his buddies at Sally Creek. He may have never mastered the game, but he did accomplish a hole-in-one on Hole # 5. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family to celebrate Bruce's life at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday October 13, 2013 from 1 - 4 pm. As per Bruce's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined in favour of donations to the Canadian Asthma Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Jump Start for Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
