VOOGD, Brian - At the Woodstock General Hospital, on Tuesday October 4th 2011. Brian Voogd of Woodstock in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Annette J. (nee Vander Ploeg) Voogd for 34 years. Cherished father of David Voogd. Loved son of "Ge" Geesina (nee deVries) Voogd and the late Jakob Voogd (2009). Dear brother of the late Albert (2009) (Nancy) of Burford, George (Edna) of Woodstock, Anne Vander Ploeg (Andy) of Cambridge, Helen Bloemendal (Al), Jenny Bloemendal (Gerald) all of Brampton. Jake (Fadia) of Ancaster, Wayne (Nadine) of Scotland and Eugene (Cristine) of Burford. Also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Brian was a member and past Elder and Deacon at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, Woodstock and had farmed in the Burford area with his brothers for many years. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Friday, October 7th 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service in celebration of Brian's life will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac St., Woodstock on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dirk Miedema and John Wildeboer officiating.
