He ended his career as an adjudicator for the Canadian Employment Insurance Commission. He was member of the Woodstock Rotary Club for over twenty years and served as President from 1988-1989. After being a member of the Board of Directors of the Woodstock Hospital for many years, it was during his term as Chairman of the Board (1999-2001) that the Ministry of Health announced Woodstock’s new hospital was to be built. Brian was an Elder and served on the Board of Stewards at Knox Presbyterian Church of Woodstock.

His dedication to his family, faith, and community was unparalleled.
