CRAWFORD - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday August 1, 2007. Brian Douglas Crawford of Woodstock in his 57th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Olga Crawford (nee Popowczak) and the late Hendrika (nee Meyer) Crawford (1996). Dear father of Connie Loker and her husband Justin of Woodstock, Adele Sam of Sarnia and step father of Jennifer Hutzal and her husband Brad of Aurora, Patricia Artindale of Toronto, Michael Artindale of B.C. and Melissa Artindale of Aurora. Loved grandfather of Derek, Rebekah, Zachary, Jacob and Hannah. Dear son of Doug and Jean (nee Wettlaufer) Crawford of Woodstock and brother of John Crawford and his wife Carolyn of Ingersoll. Brian is also survived by Bruce and Bonnie Strickland of Aylmer, who he considered a brother and sister, and by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Brian was employed with GM for over 30 years, was a member of the CAW Local 636, was an avid outdoors man enjoying fishing, photography and the simple pleasures nature had to offer. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday August 3, 2007 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Alan Calcutt officiating.
