Oosterveld, Bogert - Psalm 125-2, As the mountains surround Jerusalem so the Lord surrounds his People. From this time forth and forever. The Lord called Bogert Oosterveld to his eternal home at the Oxford Regional Nursing Home, Ingersoll on Monday November 24, 2003. Bogert Oosterveld formerly of Huron St., Woodstock in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Jantje "Jenny" Oosterveld (nee Eising) 1997. Dear father of John Oosterveld and his wife Anne and Jennifer Matter and her husband Richard all of Woodstock, George Oosterveld of Tillsonburg, the late Albert Oosterveld (2001) and father-in-law of Karen Oosterveld of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Predeceased by his several brothers and sisters. Bogert was the last surviving member of his own family. Bogert was a longtime member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church, Woodstock, had been involved with Dairy farming in the Woodstock and area from 1951 til 1968 then finally working at the O.R.C. for several years until his retirement. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, on Tuesday 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
