GARDINER - Peacefully at Leisureworld Care Giving Centre, Brantford on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Robert "Bob" E. Gardiner in his 62nd year. Loved son of the late Laurie and Jean Gardiner. Beloved brother of Lynne (Murray) McEwen of St. George and dear uncle of Christopher and Carolyn. Predeceased by his loving aunts Shirley and Frances Paxton and by his grandmother Cora Paxton all of Woodstock. Bob had been a lifelong member of Central United Church and had worked for ARC Industries for many years. Friends are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 for visitation starting at 10:00 am, followed by the complete funeral service which will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to Woodstock & District Developmental Services or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
