Blanche Audrey (Wiseman) Davey

DAVEY- At Woodstock General Hospital on September 24, 2005, Blanche Audrey Davey (nee Wiseman) in her 84th year. Predeceased by her late husband Bertram Malcolm Davey (1982) and her daughter Barbara Jean Davey (2004). Survived by her children Dianne Hodges and Brad Davey, her grandchildren Scott, Jarrett, and Davey Hodges, and Erin and Tanya Riedl-Davey, and 3 step grandchildren. Blanche was the last surviving member of her own family and was a lifetime member of the Sweaburg U.C.W.. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., (539-0004) on Tuesday September 27, 2005 from 10-11:00am where a memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am with Rev. David Woodall officiating. During the last months of her life Blanche drew great comfort from the cards and flowers she received from her friends. Blanche was proud of her volunteer positions held at the Alzheimer Society of Oxford, the Canadian Cancer Society and VON Oxford and would appreciate donations to these charities in her memory.
