SEARLES- C. William "Bill" Searles passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday August 27th 2013. Charles William "Bill" Henry Searles of RR# 5 Woodstock was in his 82nd year. He was born in Hawtrey, Ontario, son of the late Stanley Searles and Winnifred (Hilliker) Searles. Beloved husband of Marion Phyllis Searles (nee Showers). Dear father of William (Susie) of Ingersoll, Judy Searles of Woodstock, Robert (Mary Alice) of Chatham, Patricia (Bruce) O'Brien of Mississauga and Marion (Pat) Giles of Norwich. Proud grandfather of Bill, Tracey, Jaycee, Hailey, Austen, Declan, Anna and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Justin, Skyler, Alyssa and Skye. Dear brother of Gord, Reg and Bob Searles. Predeceased by his sisters Ellen Haylock, Beatrice Haylock, Gertrude Turner and by his brother John Searles. Bill enjoyed fishing, Jack Russell Terriers, orating stories, apple pie and had fond memories of Timberjack and Timberland. He loved his family, working hard and a good joke. A private family gathering was held in remembrance of Bill.
