Beverley Thelma Bates (nee Simpson) of Caressant Care and formerly of Birtch St., Woodstock in her 51st year. Beloved wife of Leroy Bates. Dear mother of Donna Housworth and her husband Steve of Woodstock, Violet McIsaac of Nova Scotia and Beverly O'Regan of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Brittany, Zackary, Denis, Jazmin and Mya. Loved daughter Violet Simpson and the late Allan Simpson. Dear sister of Joan Powell (Laurie), David Simpson (Joyce), Gordon Simpson, Roger Simpson (Regina), Wesley Simpson (Annie), Gloria MacKenzie (Gordon), Peggy Pottruff and Douglas Simpson (Mary). Beverley is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, on Thursday 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00am with Rev. John McCauley officiating. Interment in the Scotland Cemetery.
