Betty Kathleen (Mcmillan) Vernooy

VERNOOY (nee McMillan), Betty K. – Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday February 3, 2022, in her 81st  year. Beloved wife of Nick Vernooy for over 51 years. Loving mother of Brad (Deanna) Vernooy and Larry (Deborah) Vernooy.  Cherished Oma of Nicholaas, Victoria (Colin) Window, Dennis (Joyce Lund) MacAloney and Sheri (Alex) Piggott. Dear sister of Carol (Charles) Caldecott and the late James McMillan and will always be remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Betty was a long-time member of the OCNVA (Navy Club) and the Women of the Moose (Moose Lodge). Friend are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday February 7, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Visitors are asked to RSVP their attendance to the visitation and/or service on the funeral home website. Cremation to follow. Interment later in the Innerkip Cemetery.
