SWIECH- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday February 1st 2011. Elizabeth (Betty) Swiech (nee Ward) in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Swiech (2009). Dear mother of Rick (Deb), Dave (Irene Patience), Deb Aspden, Ken, Joe Jr., and Tim (Jackie). Loved grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Louis Swiech. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Kathleen Ward, sister Dorothy Snow, brother Kenneth Ward and brothers-in-law John and Tony Swiech. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews. Betty was a longtime employee of Harvey Woods in Woodstock. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Saturday February 5th 2011 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel Sunday February 6th 2011 at 1:00 pm.
