Betty Lousie Lightheart

LIGHTHEART, Betty Louise- More lovingly known as Mama Lou. Passed away peacefully in her 78th year at Alexandra Hospital, on Wednesday May 9th, 2018. We say goodbye to our dear mother after her courageous battle with kidney failure and cancer. Loved mother of daughter Kim Lightheart and daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Kevin Kipfer. Proud grandma to her four-legged grandson, Choko (Pucky). Survived by dear sister Marion Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving parents Reginald and Beryl Day and brother Mel Day. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join us at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 117 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427), on Friday, May 11th, 2018 from 3 pm to 6 pm. A private family burial at Zion Cemetery to follow. Those wishing to remember Betty by making a contribution could benefit the Canadian Cancer Society or the Nephrology (Kidney) Department at L.H.S.C. University Hospital.
