BROWN - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday September 30, 2008. Elsie Elizabeth "Betty" Brown (nee Turnbull) of Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Brown (1998). Dear mother of Larrie (Suzanne) of Kitchener, David of Woodstock, Debbie Brown of Woodstock and Richard (Shari) of St. Thomas and special mother of Sandy Sutton (Paul) of Kincardine and Dennis Hampson (Heather) of Ingersoll. Loved grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Joyce McCay, Mary Carr (Glenn) all of Paris and Roy Turnbull of Windsor and sister-in-law of Eileen Moyer (late Bob - 1998) of Woodstock. Predeceased by her daughters; Susan (2001) and Brenda (2007),great granddaughter Natasha, grandson Andy, and by her siblings; Dorothy, Jean, Millie, Bruce, Howard and Tom. Betty had been a longtime member of the Moose Lodge, Woodstock where she was the last surviving Charter Member of the Women of the Moose # 1012, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday Oct. 2, 2008 from 7-9 pm, and again on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Cheryl Tuck officiating. Interment in the Innerkip Cemetery. Contributions to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
