BLACKMORE - At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday August 13, 2003. Betty B. Blackmore (nee Brown) of James St., Woodstock in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Roy J. Blackmore. Dear mother of Barbara Jennings and husband Jim of London, Murray and wife Mary of Calgary, Marlene McGuinness and husband Gary of Beachville, Rick and wife Verla, Joann Colbran and husband Wayne, Roy Jr. and wife Marilyn, Budd and wife Katie, Lawrence and wife Carmen, Kelly Butler and wife Rita all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bob and wife Marilyn Brown, Headley and wife Lillian Brown, and Melvin and late wife Marlene Brown and their families all of western Canada. Also loved by very close in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday 7-9 pm. A graveside service will take place in the Chesterfield Cemetery on Saturday at 3:30 pm with Rev. James Davey officiating. Contributions to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
