BART, Betty Jean (nee Coughtrey) – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday September 13th 2019. Cherished wife of Ken Bart for 19 years, and wife of the late James (Jim) Turpin (1989). Lovingly remembered by her children Rick (Bernie) Turpin, Cheryl Ball, and Brenda Alexander. Dear step-mother to Gerry (Laura) Bart, Jan (Dave Hill) Bradley, and Maureen (Ron) Furanna. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Erin), Tyler (Kierstin), Jaclyn (Chad); Michelle (Jon), Leanne (Bobby), Greg (Ashley); Laura (Mike), and Paul. Dear step-grandmother of Jeff, Josh (Arina), Brian; Lindsay (Kendall), Adam, and Matt. Much loved great grandmother to Hallie, Louie, Landen, Iassac, Brinley, Logan, Andrew, and Mason. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her granddaughter Tanya Turpin (1989), sister Shirley (Bill) Newton, sons-in-law Jamie Alexander (2008) and Richard Ball (2015). Friends and family are invited to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, (519)-539-0004, on Wednesday, September 18th for a time of visitation from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday September 19th 2019 at 11am. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Women’s Missionary Society of Knox Presbyterian Church, Embro, or the Woodstock Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
