GILCHRIST - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday January 17, 2004. Bernice Velma Mary Gilchrist of Caressant Care and formerly of Arthur St., Woodstock in her 73rd year. Dear sister of Jack Gilchrist and his wife Joan of Brampton, Marlene Gilchrist of Woodstock and Terry Gilchrist and his wife Victoria of Gravenhurst. Bernice is also survived by her nieces and nephews ; Jennifer Gilchrist and Matthew Gilchrist of Gravenhurst, Sharon Flashford and her husband Bob of Toronto and Paul Gilchrist and his wife Beverly of Milton. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Frances (nee White) Gilchrist, by brothers Floyd and Robert and by her sister Gloria. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Tuesday 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Captains Phillip and Wavey Birt officiating. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
