Bernice Margo (nee Rutherford) Vale (Charlton-Stubbs) of Canterbury St., Woodstock in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Vale (1988), Larry Charlton (1997) and John Stubbs (2008). Dear mother of Cindy Gale (Isidore) of Woodstock, Sharon McMullin (Ron) of London, Lori Husk (Harvey) of Woodstock, Dianna Chapman (Mark) of Woodstock, Kelly Hollis (Aaron) of Bothwell and Rick Vale (Susan) of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of nineteen and fourteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Peter Rutherford, Brad Rutherford, Bruce Rutherford, Bill Rutherford, Wade Rutherford, Nesta Rutherford, Lorna Lines and Leola Yeoman and survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bernice was a member of the Moose Family Centre, Woodstock for over 50 years and a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 495, Beachville. Predeceased by her son David Vale (2010), granddaughter Dawn Marie Wesley (2000), brother Lyle Rutherford, parents Bernice and Margaret (nee Glaab) Rutherford and step mother Phyllis Rutherford. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday November 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Reverend Canon Richard Jones officiating.
