Moore, Bernard Francis James - Passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 at his home in his 80th year. Beloved father of Heidi Moore and Steve Moore. Dear brother of John (Verna) Moore. Predeceased by his other siblings; Joseph Moore, Mary (Pat) Murphy, Theresa Rueffer and Patrick Moore. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation and a private graveside service have taken place. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice and can be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home. As life goes on day by day, hour by hour, it seems as though you have all the time in the world. Time to accomplish all the things you want to do… but WE are not the masters of time.

You do what you can in the days that you have, assuming you can finish the rest tomorrow, next week, next month or year. That feeling sometimes tells us it’s ok to put off that call or conversation that we are avoiding.

“I’ve done enough today. I’ll do that tomorrow.” Then you wake up one day and realize “that” time has passed.

It’s difficult to not look back in regret and wonder how things might have been different if we’d done this or that or said those things… but that time has passed and it’s when “our time” with someone has run out… it reminds us to spend a little more of those days and hours with the people that are important to us more wisely, knowing they are finite.

Moments like this can be heartbreaking… but as a friend told me “it’s the cracks that let the light in”.
