Bernard Edward Brewster
March 30, 1921 — May 21, 2005
BREWSTER- At his residence in Woodingford Lodge on Saturday May 21st, 2005, Bernard Edward "Bun" Brewster in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Rosslyn Brewster (nee Wallace). Loved father of Ted and his wife Wendy of Wingham and their children Evan and Amanda, and Gord and his wife Jayne of Truro, N.S. and their children Charles, David, and Andrew. Dear brother of Patricia Hosack of Fergus. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Colin and sister Barbara Parker. Bun served in WWII in the Navy and was honoured with the Distinguished Service Medal. He was a life member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association, and a lifetime member of the Woodstock Badminton Club. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday from 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. John vanVliet officiating.
