With broken hearts we announce the passing of Barton Reid Ware, on November 8, 2024, at VON Sakura House, at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 25, 1957, Bart lived a life marked by warmth, passion, and a deep love for his family and friends. Barts was the cherished husband of Julie (nee Brotzel) Ware, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of love and partnership since their marriage on May 25, 1979. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Arron, Christine (Jerry) Cooper, and Rachael. Barts was a devoted father, always present and supportive, guiding his children with a gentle hand and a generous heart.
His joy multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren, Isadora, Lennon, and Finley, who knew him as the best grandpa ever. Barts had a special talent for creating magical moments in the kitchen, both as a cook and a baker, leaving behind a legacy of cherished family recipes and warm memories of time spent together around the dining table.
Bart is lovingly remembered by his brother, Fred (Melanie), and will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Joyce Ware, who instilled in him the values of family and kindness that he carried throughout his life.
An avid enthusiast of the open road, Bart took great pleasure in cruising in his TR6 British convertible, feeling the wind in his hair and the sun on his face. His passion for football was unparalleled, and as a die-hard Jets fan, his rallying cry of "Go Jets Go!" will echo in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Bart's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. His laughter, his unwavering support, and his boundless love are the gifts he has left behind, treasures that will be held dear by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Barts' legacy is one of joy, love, and the simple pleasures of life, a legacy that will be cherished and celebrated by his family and friends for generations to come.
In keeping with Bart's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the VON Sakura House would be greatly appreciated and may be arranged with the funeral home.
