Barry Robert Wallace

WALLACE, Barry Robert - Passed away at Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday, November 27th, 2012 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Glendinning) Wallace and loving son of Ruth and the late Wes Wallace. Barry will be sadly missed by his daughter Kelly Jorgensen (Dale) and grandchildren Lily and Erik who adored him. He was a dear brother to John (Linda) Wallace and brother-in-law to Tom (Diann) Glendinning and Bob (Deb) Ross. Also left to mourn are his nieces and nephews. Barry was co-owner of Wallace Brothers Lumber, founding co-owner of Skee Hi (Cobble Hills), was employed with Cliffside Utilities, BFC, and finally Aecon. Barry was the past president of Zorra Caledonian Society, served on the board of the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, and was on the council of the Township of Zorra and the County of Oxford. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) Thursday November 29th 2012 from 2:30 - 4:30 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Embro United Church on Friday at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow in the North Embro Cemetery.
