Barbara "Lois" (Reid) Ross

ROSS, Barbara "Lois" - Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday, September 16th, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. Beloved wife of Douglas Ross for over 58 years. Cherished mother of David Ross (Mavis) of Waterloo and Brenda Ross of London Ontario. Loving grandmother of Scott Ross and Heather Ross of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Edith Reid, her brothers Clare and Austin Reid, and her sister Evelyn Edwards. Survived by her brother-in-law Al Edwards of Peterborough and several nieces and nephews. Lois was born in Apsley, ON and also lived in Lakefield, Peterborough, and Ridgetown before settling in Woodstock. She was a lifetime member of the Woodstock Hospital Auxiliary and a long time member of College Avenue United Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 1-2pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2pm with Pastor Lloyd Bennett officiating.
