CALDECOTT- It is with sadness, the family announces the death of Austin Willard Caldecott on August 15, 2011 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife, the former Thekla Kaulbach. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, the former Bernice Bright. Dad and cherished friend of his daughter Jane Hammond of Woodstock and his son, Charles "Chuck" (Carol) Caldecott of Innerkip. Much loved Grandpa of Nancy (Brent) McWhinney, Christen (Bryant) Taillon, Teresa Haig, Casey Caldecott, Lynnette (David) North, Glenn (Lisa) Hammond and by 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters, Dorothy Edwards (late Ward Edwards and late John Reid), Myrtle Brooks (late Wallace) and June Caldecott (late Robert). Also predeceased by his sister Helen ( Norman) Brooks and a brother Murray Cormack. Austin is also survived by Thekla's children Werner (Marianne), Kristian and Ingrid (Robert). In his usual giving way, Austin has donated his body to science. Visitation with the family and friends will be held at the Innerkip United Church, 11 Vincent Street Innerkip Friday August 19th 2011 from 7-9, and again on Saturday after 12pm where the service of Honouring and Remembrance will be held in the sanctuary Saturday August 20th 2011 at 1:00 pm.
