Auke "Jack" Vanderhorn

VANDERHORN, Auke "Jack" - Passed away peacefully in his 87th year at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock on September 19th, 2016. Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Sippi. Dear father of Lynn Vording, John (Sharry) Vanderhorn, Frances Crown (Andre Tjia), and Sandra (Terry) Murray. Cherished grandfather of Scott (Nancy) Vording, Steve (Lauren) Vording, Shawn (Jen) Vording,Tim (Terri) Vording, Jenny (Steve) Pizzale, Nancy VanderHorn (Micah), Bryan (Jen) Vanderhorn, James (Jenny) Crown, Justin Crown (Abbi) , Stacy Crown (Chris), Jordan (Katrina) Murray, Nicholas (Allie) Murray and great-grandfather of Joel, Riley, Portia, Anna, Avery, Kyla, Sam, Isabella, Reese, Ryder, Jack, Tessa, Colten, Ember, Claire, Carter and Emerson. Dear brother of Wendy Zantinga. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his brothers Bill (2011) and Weiger (1936). Jack farmed in the Ridgeville, Bright and Embro areas. Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday September 21st, 2016 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Thursday September 22nd, 2016 at 11:00am.
