Audrey "Bernice" (Iredale) Childs

CHILDS, Audrey Bernice - At Caressant Care Nursing Home, on Friday November 9, 2012, Audrey Bernice Childs (nee Iredale) in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Stanley Childs. Loving mother of Sharon deVries and her husband Jack, Mary Anne Leeper and her husband Lorne, all of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Scott deVries (Doris) of Ingersoll, Tim deVries (Sherri) of Woodstock, Jason deVries (Carolyn) of London, Jeff Leeper (Andrea) of Kitchener and Richard Leeper (Sara) of Norwich. She will also be missed by several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bernice was predeceased by her son John Stanley Childs (1991). Bernice was a past president of the Dundas UCW, the church choir and kept many people warm with her afghans and dolls. The family will receive friends at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Tuesday November 13th, 2012, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the Complete Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday November 14th at 2pm.
