HARDY- At Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday January 20, 2005. Arthur (Art) L. Hardy of Shenstone Ave. Woodstock in his 85th year. Very much loved husband of 60 years to Ruth M. Hardy (nee Rose). Dear father of Jim and his wife Laureen Joy of Waterdown and Jill Hardy of London. Loved grandfather of Adam, Amy and Alycia. Art served in the R.A.F. during WW II, was past deputy chief of the Woodstock Fire Department retiring in 1980, after which he followed his love of antiques opening up his own business Pumphouse Antiques. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at The Church of The Good Shepherd 1023 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Eleanor Caruana officiating. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery.
