Anthony Jan "Tony" Versaevel

VERSAEVEL, Anthony "Tony" J. - Born in Oude Tonge, Netherlands on January 22, 1944, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 at the Woodstock Hospital in his 75th year. He is survived by his loving wife Joan (nee Richardson) Versaevel and by his three children; Mark, Gregory and Kimberley. Cherished grandfather of Brittany (Mark), Craig, Nicolas (Sarah), Mikayla (William), Paris, Avery and great grandfather to Keegan. He was very proud of his grand kids and they loved him dearly. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. Loving brother of Frank (Donna) Versaevel, Antoinette (Mike) Brannan, Rene (Sharron) Versaevel, Catrina "Tinneka" (Norm) Dueck, John (Jan) Versaevel and brother-in-law to Helen Versaevel and Karen (John) vanLierop. Predeceased by his brother Alphonse Versaevel (2018). Tony was the Past President of the Ostomy Group and was employed at Standard Tube for over 38 years. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday February 9, 2018 from 6-8pm, where the memorial service to honour Tony's life will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Woodstock.
