Anthony David Bee

BEE, ANTHONY DAVID -  Passed away peacefully at his home, Arbor Trace, in London Ontario on October 8, 2019, in his 83rd year.  Anthony was born in Worcester, England and graduated from Bristol University before emigrating to Tillsonburg, Ontario in 1965, where he taught at Glendale High school.  He then moved to Woodstock, Ontario where he spent his career at Huron Park Secondary School teaching French and Geography. He spent many hours teaching Driver's Education with many amusing stories to tell. He leaves behind a legacy of music as Choir Director and Organist at College Avenue United Church for over 35 years.  He spent many weekends as well performing at weddings and special events. Anthony always liked to be busy and spent many of his later years traveling with Jeannine. Music was the foundation and anchor in his life, Anthony still had the passion and love for music until the end.  A note played on the piano, a song sung, or music video would always put a smile on his face.  He was resilient.  Predeceased by his partner Jeannine Easton and his brother Michael. Loving father of Daryn (Joanne), Paula (Kevin) and Michael (Kim).  Caring grandfather of Adam, Jamie, Nicholas, Jenna, Thomas, Sean and Rebecca.   Thank you to the staff  at Oxford Gardens, VON Day Program in Woodstock, Arbor Trace and McCormick Home Day Program in London,  for their love and support and always honouring, respecting  and advocating for Anthony.  A special thank you to Crystal for always sending a picture of their time together and sharing her children with him, a time I know he truly cherished.  Cremation has occurred.   A private family gathering will take place at a later date.  For those wishing to honour the memory of Anthony donations to McCormick Dementia Services through McCormick Home Foundation would be welcomed and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004).  Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
