Annie Lloy (Malcolm) Symons

September 22, 1915 — October 9, 2007

SYMONS- At her residence on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Annie Lloy Symons (nee Malcolm) of Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home, Delaware and formerly of Embro and in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late George Green Symons (1977). Beloved aunt of May Riley and her husband Harold of Komoka. Always remembered by several nieces, nephews, great nephews Bruce McPherson of Kinburn, Douglas McPherson and his companion Brenda Doucette of Woodstock as well as great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Sarah Jane and Arthur Malcolm of Bright, sister Helen and brothers William, Robert, Francis and Maurice. Lloy was especially proud of her age and pleased with a 90th birthday celebration in 2005 when a nephew Bruce Hutchinson and wife Sylvia, niece Virginia Hunter, niece May Riley and husband Harold " made her day" most enjoyable. Lloy was employed with United Co-Operatives in Embro for many years, member of Knox United Church in Embro as well as the Rebekah Lodge in Embro. A grave side service will be held at the North Embro Cemetery on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 2:30 pm.
