Anne Egilsson (nee Campbell) died peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock, On. on November 13, 2014 in her100th year. Wife of the late Rev. Einar Egilsson. Loving mother of Lynda Molleson (Ray), Reg Egilsson (Marlene), and Colleen Egilsson. Loving Grandmother of Alana Molleson (Jerry) and Brenan Molleson and Nathan Egilsson. Dear sister of surviving brothers Frank and Gordon Campbell. Also surviving sister-in-laws Ivy Campbell, Vivian Campbell, Audrey Campbell and Val Campbell. Predeceased by sisters Mamie Shurvel, Vivian White and Rodney and Colin Campbell. She was born on the family farm in Miniota, Manitoba to Reginald Campbell and Violet Campbell (nee Grey). She began her teaching career in five different one-room schools in the area. She married Einar on July 18th 1944. She was very involved in the United Church of Canada. Anne was the first lay woman to be President of London Conference. She also worked at Head Office in Toronto in Missions and Services for several years. Anne was also on the General Council of the United Church of Canada. While Einar was pastor of Dundas United Church in Woodstock Anne was on the Board of the YWCA. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service as per Anne's request. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.
