Anne (Rathy) Beres

BERES - Peacefully at her home in Woodstock on Monday February 9, 2004. Anne Beres (nee Rathy) formerly of the Drumbo area in her 75th year left us to be reunited with her husband Ben Beres (Jan. 2001). She will be missed by her children Dave and his wife Debbie of Tillsonburg and Nancy Slack and her husband Jody of Ayr. Proud and loving grandmother of Keith Beres, Karen Beres and Katie Van Rybroeck and her husband Jeff all of Tillsonburg and Joel Slack of Ayr. Survived by her sisters Irene Gibson, Helen (Joe) Fekete, Alice (Ed) Wolfe all of Woodstock and Laraine Kitching of Innerkip and sister-in-law of Charles Beres (Elsie) of Toronto. Anne is also survived by her several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Alex (1976). Anne and her husband had lived in the Drumbo area where they were Tobacco farmers for many years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Tuesday 7-9pm, and Wednesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30pm with Rev. Carol Ferguson officiating. Interment in the Princeton Cemetery. Contributions to the London Health Sciences Centre Cancer Clinic or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
