Anna (Schichatzkaja) Seykens

SEYKENS- At Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday May 18, 2006. Anna "Annie" Seykens (nee Schichatzkaja) of Knowles Drive Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Herbertus "Albert" Seykens. Dear mother of Jeanetta Woodall and her husband Ron, Agnes French and Tammy Black all of Woodstock, Joze Vernooy and her husband Joe of St. MArys, and Petra Haskell and her companion Jack Shewan of Ingersoll. LOved grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces in the Ukraine and brothers/sisters-in-law in Holland and the U.S.. Predeceased by her son-in-law Neil Scurr (1982). Annie was a member of the LAdies Auxillary at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock, the Seniors Citizens Southgate Centre and the Woodstock Blind Bowlers League. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Trinity Catho9lic Community Church (St. Rita's) 904 Dundas St. Woodstock on Monday at 10:30 am with Father Chris Gevaert officiating. Interment in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation or the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated.
