KIJEWSKI - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital with her family by her side, on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, Anna Aloisia Kijewski (nee Handrych) of Woodstock in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Mieczyslaw (Mike) Kijewski (1994). Cherished mother of Erika (Jim Burke) Katsoulis of Westmeath, Ontario, Peter (Renate) Janker of Berlin, Germany, Jim Kijewski of Richmond Hill, Mike (Nancy) Kijewski of Woodstock and Bob (Janet) Kijewski of Beachville. Special Oma to 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Walter Janker (2009), grandson Morgan Kijewski (2004), and her brother Walter Handrych (2002). As per Anna's wishes there will be a private family service held at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). Interment to be held at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or Kidney Foundation. The family would like to thank Anna's neighbours, Wilma and Moon, whose helping hands allowed Anna to live in her own house until the time of her hospitalization.
