Ann Marie (Perrault) Gagnon

Gagnon, Ann Marie (nee Perrault) - Nana, wife, mother, friend, sister, teacher, aunt and Godmother, died peacefully on May 5th , 2019 at the age of 70 years, 11 months at Sakura House in Woodstock Ontario. Predeceased by her Husband Germain (July 2018) She loved to spend time with family, travel, bake, garden and shop. Her teaching career began when after earning her certification at the age of 19 she accepted a teaching position in Lac Saint-Jean Quebec where she quickly learned french and met the love of her life, Germain Gagnon. They were soon married and inseparable for the next 50 years. Together they had three sons, Philippe (Anne MacKay Spanjers) of Sweaburg, Mathieu of Woodstock, and André of Montreal. In retirement, Ann was able to take on her Nana role full-time. Her grandchildren Justine (River Walton), Ryan (Cara Jancsar) Sophie and Lucas could always count on her to watch them play basketball, soccer, hockey or baseball, take them on a road trips and to always have fudgesicles in the freezer. She loved to learn, spend time with friends and travel. She specially loved to entertain, everyone was welcome in her home. She was the daughter of Phyllis Lewis and Edward Perrault. The sister of Gord Perrault (Jan Goodison), Janet Perrault (André Cayer), Donna Perrault (Peter Smalley), Michelle Perrault (Barry Freiheit). Her brothers and sister in laws: Fernand (Noella Harvey), Jean Paul (Thér&egravese Gagnon), Louise-Marie (Denise Gilbert), André (Clairette Lamontagne, Marthe Cinq-Mars), Florian (Marthe Grenier, Nicole Simard), Richard (Raymonde Hebert), Gaëtane (Soeur du Bon Pasteur) Gilles (Bibianne Verreault), Camille (Lisette Guerin), Régina (Soeur du Bon Pasteur), Gervais (Helene Caron). Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Brock and Visser, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m with the memorial service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life to follow service. If desired memorial contributions to V.O.N. Sakura House of Woodstock or the London Regional Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home.
