Anetta (Piatkowska) Gronowski

Anetta Gronowski (nee Piatkowska) of Woodstock passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday September 1st 2018 at Victoria Hospital in her 56th year. Beloved wife of Pawel Gronowski. Loved mother of Peter and Philip Gronowski. Cherished daughter of Maria Piatkowska and the late Pawel Piatkowski. Dear sister of Slawomir (Ewa) Piatkowski and the late Marek Piatkowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Lodz, Poland, Anetta moved to Ontario in 1989 where she worked full time to provide for her family. She achieved a degree in business administration and accounting in 2008, graduating with distinction, upon which she was able to put her meticulous nature and love of math to work. Anetta was loving and compassionate, putting the lives of others above her own. Always friendly and willing to lend a hand, she was loved and appreciated by family, friends, and co-workers. One of her favourite hobbies was reading and in her later years she fulfilled her lifelong dream of learning to play piano. A private Celebration of Life will take place, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Woodstock Hospital would be appreciated, and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004).
