EMPEY Andrew Garnet: Quietly and gently on December 18th, 2014 Andrew Garnet Empey passed away into the arms of his Lord, in his 88th year, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and soul mate of Emma Eileen Empey (nee Cleaver) for over 57 years. Cherished father to Anita Cole (Francis Budden), and devoted grandfather to Brandon Cole (Amanda Tetlow) and Leenah Cole (Josh Van Damme). Andrew's life was built on a foundation of faith and hard work. He leaves a strong legacy in the power of a life well lived to his family including his sister Marj Empey, sister-in-law Doris Empey and nieces Carolin (Norm) French, Wilena White, Lynda (Rex) Paget, Marjorie Dunn, Susan (Rick) Craddock, Genie (John) Phillips, Christine Thammavongsa, Sheila (Ed) Empey, and nephew Roger Empey. Andrew is survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Gordon Empey, Wilmur and sister-in-law Margaret. Friends and family will be welcomed for visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday December 21st, 2014 from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 22nd, 2014 at the College Avenue United Church, 22 Wilson Street Woodstock at 11am. Reception to follow. Interment at Putnam Cemetery.
