February 5, 1958 — January 16, 2024

Ana Paula Fillmchuk , known affectionately as Paula to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, at her home in Woodstock. Born on February 5, 1958, in the beautiful country of Portugal, Ana's life was a tapestry of love, friendship, and gentle kindness that touched everyone she knew.

Ana's journey led her to an enduring love story with her much-loved husband, David Fillmchuk. Together, they built a life filled with joy and cherished memories. Ana's legacy includes her devoted son, Steven, and her caring daughter, Nicole, married to Kyle Gizas. Her role as a grandmother was one she embraced with all her heart, showering her grandchildren, Quinton, Aria, and Naomi, with the same love and affection she bestowed upon all her family.

Ana's siblings, Nel and Susie, and her brother, Peter, will remember her as the glue that held the family together, always there with a listening ear and a comforting embrace. Her friendship was a gift, and her best friends, Jody and Deb, will carry the memories of their shared laughter and support through all of life's ups and downs.

Those who knew Ana will recall a woman who was the epitome of loving and friendly, with a gentle spirit that made her a joy to be around. Her presence was a calming force, and her ability to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level was truly remarkable.

Ana's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact one person can have on the lives of many. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we say goodbye to Ana, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart given freely, and a soul that enriched the world simply by being a part of it. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and the many lives she touched.

Ana Paula Fillmchuk's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories told, the love shared, and the gentle echoes of her influence that will resonate for generations to come.
