She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. June was a stay-at-home Mom. She enjoyed taking care of her garden and cooking and baking for the family. She took pride in keeping her home tidy and seeing it “shine”. Never a day went by that she didn’t have a bouquet of flowers on display in the center of her dining room table. June was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and enjoyed travelling along with her husband, Bill, to many parades and other assorted Shriner events. After the death of her husband, June took over the reigns and did her best to support her daughter Nancy Newport with her endeavors at Double N Farms near Foldens. June and Nancy enjoyed the happy times they spent together at Oxford Gardens. Many thanks go to the patient and caring nursing staff at Woodingford Lodge who looked after both June and Nancy so well during their final days. A celebration of June’s life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment will occur later in the Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe.
