POSTE, Amy - At the Woodstock Private Hospital on Saturday June 8, 2013. Amy Marie (nee Tickner) Poste of Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Ronald "Ron" Arthur Poste for nearly 65 years (June 19, 1948). Dear mother of Elaine Ransom and her husband David of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Marie Ransom (Steve), Jeanette Klingenberg (Darrell) and Eric Ransom. Predeceased by her sisters Leona Watson, Marjorie Watson (Michael) and by her parents Walter and Harriett (nee Johnson) Tickner. Amy had been a longtime member of Faith United Church originally the Central United Church congregation. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday June 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bob MacGregor officiating.
