Althea (Proctor) Stevely
July 20, 1922 — January 23, 2014
STEVELY, (June) Althea (nee Proctor). Born July 20, 1922 in Aurora, Ontario and passed away at home, Leisure World-Oxford, Ingersoll, on Thursday January 23, 2014 surrounded by family, staff & love. Althea lived a very full life all across North America including earning her private pilot's license (1946) before finally settling in Woodstock to raise her family although her heart belonged in Muskoka. She was fiercely proud of her family: son Jim (Rob) Stevely, Ingersoll; daughter Mary (Ken) Kingsbury, Tillsonburg; daughter-in-law Pat Stevely, Hickson. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Katrina (David) Isern, James and Deanna Stevely; Shayna & Alika Kingsbury; Jenny Stevely; Mickey & Casey Stevely. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Betty & Irene and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by son Mike, grandson Matt, parents Howard & Carol, and brothers Trevor & Barry. Following our Mom's stern direction, there will be no formal service; however a celebration of her life will be held at Louie's Pizza in Ingersoll from 3-5 pm on Saturday January 25. Casual dress and laughter is required.
