Allardus Overzet

OVERZET- Psalm 121:1-2 "I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Suddenly the Lord took home our loving husband, father, and Opa in his 63rd year, Allardus Overzet. Beloved husband of 38 years of Tina Overzet (Zomerman). Loving father of Kees and Wilma Overzet, Janet and Gijs van Oostrum, Tony and Jennette Overzet, Jolanda and Ed Horinga. Cherished Opa of Kim, Casper, Korey, Derek, Kayla and Chelsea. Dear son-in-law of Jantien Zomerman-Kadijk. Also survived by three sisters and one brother of the Netherlands. Predeceased by father Kornelis Overzet (1979) and his mother Trientje Overzet (2002) and father-in-law Tonnis Zomerman (1987) and brother -in-law Sipke Bijzitter. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) on Saturday from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Dirk Miedema officiating.
