IONSON. Allan - Peacefully at home on Sunday April 5th, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Allan Duncan Cameron Ionson of Woodstock in his 45th year. Loving husband of Janet Ionson (nee Richardson). Devoted father to Nicole Breen (John Dillon) of Cambridge, Michelle Whitney (James) of Woodstock and Joanne Ferguson of Kitchener. Dear brother of Katherine Legacy (George), Norma Ionson (Faron Staats), Elizabeth Ionson, Susan Ionson (Dan Aulis) and William Ionson. Allan is also survived by his father-in-law James Richardson; brother-in-law Jim Richardson (Diane) and sister-inlaw Glenna Richardson. Cherished grandson of Mary Ionson. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Allan (2001) and June (2011) Ionson, mother-in-law Verna Richardson (2008) and brother-in-law Kevin Bowers (2006). The family will receive friends at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday April 8th, 2015 from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9pm. The complete funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday April 9th, 2015 at 1:30pm.
