Allan Herbert Dolson

DOLSON, Allan H. - Peacefully at the Maples Nursing Home Tavistock, on Saturday January 23, 2016. Allan Herbert Dolson was in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Jofferine Dolson (nee Jones)(1996). Dear step-father of Mary Donnelly, Kathleen Donnelly, Colleen Donnelly, Melvin (Gail) Donnelly and Bill (Sandy) Donnelly. Loved brother of Betty McCormack, Muriel Baird, Laura Connors, Kenneth Dolson, Clarence Dolson and Carol McCauley and brother-in-law of George (Mary Lou) Jones. Predeceased by his son Kevin Dolson (2003), sister Orma Way and brothers Bruce Dolson and Harold Dolson. Allan farmed until the late 1970's in Dufferin County, then moved to Brampton, where he met and married his beloved Jofferine (formerly Donnelly). In the early 1980's they settled into Innerkip where he farmed until his retirement in 1996. The family will receive friends at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday January 26, 2016 after 12:30pm. The complete funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm. Interment to take place later in the Innerkip Cemetery.
