BORLAND, Allan Franklin - went home to be with his Saviour, on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Parkwood Hospital. Allen was the beloved husband of the late Bernice (nee Gourlay), loving father to Roger (Donna), Bob (Cheryl), Dale, Kathy McCready (Ed), and Christine Scott. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 15. Allen will also be missed by his brother Ed and Joan Borland. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Edna Borland and siblings Jim and Dorothy. Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10-11am at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home in Thamesford, 519-285-2427 where the memorial service will be held at 11:00am. Interment in the Zion cemetery with reception to follow at the Beaty Room, Thamesford. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Parkwood Hospital Memorial Foundation.
