Taylor, Alison Denise (née Ruby) – Passed away peacefully in a room filled with the love of her family on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, in her 57th year. Loving and devoted wife of Robert Taylor for 39 years. Beloved mother of Lindsay Gibbons, Andrew (Dylon Pastoor) Taylor and Amanda (Brian) Bos. Proud grandmother of Claire, Thomas; Eleanor and Nathaniel. Dear sister of Brent (Patti) Ruby, Cathy Ruby, the late Michelle Ruby, Marla Ruby and Scott (Kerri) Ruby. cherished daughter of Pat and the late Ken Ruby. Survived by her Parents-in-law Robert (Geri) Taylor and Betty Taylor. Alison brought joy and laughter to every room she entered and was passionate about helping children. In a four year span as foster parents, Robert and Alison opened their home to more than 30 children. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, September 16th, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. (Due to COVID, guests are kindly asked to RSVP for the visitation and service on the funeral home website.) If desired, donations to the Children’s Aid Society in Alison’s honour would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
