Alida Barkhuis

BARKHUIS, Alida - Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, July 27th, 2018 at the age of 83 at Sakura House in Woodstock. Alida is predeceased by her beloved husband Jans Barkhuis (2008) and her son Ralph Barkhuis (2004). Loved mother of Corry Barkhuis (Herb Watson) of Toronto and Ruby (David) Isaacs of Ottawa. Always missed by her sister Nellie (Alex) Lubbers of Rosedale and Corrie (Jack) Pool of Woodstock. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Jilian and great-granddaughter Talia Rose. Alida also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 10am - 11am for a time of visitation where the service will take place in the chapel at 11am. A private family interment will take place at Hillview Cemetery in Woodstock.
