Alice Schut

Schut (nee Dykstra), Alice - Surrounded by family at Woodingford Lodge, mom peacefully entered glory on Saturday December 3rd, 2022, at the age of 81.  Beloved wife of John for over 59 years. Proud mother of Yvonne(Rick), Harry(Janet), Michael(Pam), and Theresa(Eric). Cherished grandmother to Joel, Erin(Ian), Steven(Amanda), Daryl(Emily), Tracey(Tom), Amy(Tyler), Jonathan(Tera-Mae), Kayla(Trent), Devin, Mitchell, Katie(Mark), Kristen(Perry), Dylan(Andrea), Tori(Jon), Tara(Riley), Deanna and Meghan.  She will also be missed by her 8 great-grandchildren.  Loving sister to Grace, Sandra, Clarence, and John(Catherine).  Loving sister in law to Albert(Jessie).  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Predeceased by  sisters-in-law Mary, Tina, Betty, Carol, brothers-in-law Hille, Gerrit, Ralph, Henry, and her infant brother.  Alice was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church and community.  Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, from 4:00-7:30pm for visitation. Celebration of Life will be held at Innerkip Presbyterian Church at 2:30pm on Thursday December 8th, 2022.  A private burial, attended by family, will take place prior to the service.  If desired, a memorial contribution towards Compassion Canada – Child Relief or Parkinsons Society of Southwestern Ontario would be greatly appreciated and can be arranged through the Funeral Home on the webpage.
