Pounds Alice Peacefully at Leisureworld, Ingersoll on Saturday December 14, 2013. Alice (Judge) Pounds, formerly of Embro and Thamesford in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the Late George Pounds (1988) and dear mother of Judy (Walter) Burns of Ottawa, Joan (Gerald) Thornton of Ingersoll and Gary (Fran) Pounds of Thamesford. Also survived by 6 grandchildren Jeff, Steven, Carrie, Ed, Lisa and Nicole, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 21, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of one's choice.
