Alice Jean Leslie

Alice"Jean" Leslie (nee Wells) Jean, beloved wife of Charles W. Leslie (predeceased), mother of Ken Bennett (Shirlee) and stepmother of Gwennyth (predeceased) and Marion (Robert), was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, September 12, 1922 and died in London on September 3, 2018. Jean was the daughter of Job Winters Wells and Daisy Mabel Peck and sister to Annie Delaney and Mary Church, all of whom predeceased her. She is remembered by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jean's families are deeply indebted to our cousins, Elaine and David Leslie and Mike, her faithful dog walker, whose support enabled Jean to remain independent and in her own home until the end. On September 29, a private Service of Committal was held at Banner United Church where Jean joined Charles and several generations of faithful Leslies.
